The estate cultivates around 50 hectares of vineyards in some of South Tyrol’s most sought-after sites, including areas around Caldaro, Terlano, and Lake Caldaro. Since 2005, Manincor has followed certified biodynamic farming principles, focusing on healthy soils, biodiversity, and natural vineyard balance. In the cellar, gravity-fed winemaking and gentle handling are used to preserve the purity and expression of each vineyard site.
Manincor works with a wide range of grape varieties that thrive in South Tyrol’s Alpine-Mediterranean climate. Among the most important white grapes are Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Blanc, and Gewürztraminer, while Pinot Noir, Lagrein, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon play an important role for red wines. The estate is particularly known for wines such as Tannenberg, a refined Sauvignon Blanc, Cassiano, an elegant Bordeaux-style blend, and Il Conte, one of South Tyrol’s best-known red cuvées. White wines such as La Manina and Sophie further showcase the estate’s precise and terroir-driven style.
The unique climate of South Tyrol strongly shapes the identity of Manincor wines. Warm, sunny days are balanced by cool Alpine nights, helping grapes achieve full ripeness while preserving freshness and aromatic precision. Influences from nearby Lake Caldaro moderate temperatures, while mineral-rich soils of limestone, clay, and porphyry contribute structure and complexity. This combination allows Manincor to craft wines with depth, elegance, and exceptional ageing potential.
