Tramin Winery
The Tramin winery was founded in 1898 and is one of the oldest winegrowers' cooperatives in South Tyrol. It has earned an outstanding reputation over the years, particularly for its aromatic white wines. The winery is located in the municipality of Tramin, in the heart of South Tyrol, a region in northern Italy known for its excellent wine-growing areas. Tramin is particularly famous as the home of Gewürztraminer, a grape variety that finds ideal conditions here. The Tramin winery is run by a committed winegrower community, which consists of around 300 members. These winegrowing families work together to maintain the high quality standards and to continue the tradition of viticulture in Tramin.
A special feature of the Tramin winery is its consistent focus on quality and innovation. They use cutting-edge techniques to get the best out of grapes while respecting traditional methods. This combination enables them to produce wines that reflect both the typicity of the region and the uniqueness of the terroir. The best-known wines from the Tramin winery include the Gewürztraminer “Nussbaumer” and the Pinot Blanc “Stoass”. Both wines have received numerous awards and are internationally recognized.
