The Pinot Noir DOC 2022 from Garlider Winery is a characterful organic red wine from the Eisack Valley, a region best known for white wines, but where higher and cooler vineyard sites also provide ideal conditions for elegant Pinot Noir. The biodynamically farmed family estate’s vineyards are located above Klausen in Alpine high-altitude sites, where strong temperature differences between day and night encourage slow grape ripening, preserving freshness and aromatic precision. The wine is crafted with great care and a natural approach to viticulture, aiming to express both origin and vintage as authentically as possible.
In the glass, the Pinot Noir DOC 2022 shows a light ruby red colour. The nose reveals red forest berries, cherries and delicate herbal notes, accompanied by subtle spicy nuances. On the palate, the wine is fresh, elegant and finely structured, supported by lively acidity, silky tannins and a clear, harmonious finish.
