Sylvaner DOC - 2024 from Pacherhof is a dry, elegant white wine that impresses with its brilliant straw-yellow color. On the nose, it develops an intense bouquet of tropical fruits such as pineapple and banana, accompanied by fine floral notes. On the palate, Sylvaner is elegant and fine, with lively minerality and a long, delicate finish.
This wine is made from 100% Sylvaner grapes, which grow in the Eisack Valley in South Tyrol. The Sylvaner grape variety is known for its ability to produce wines with a particular freshness and aroma in cooler climates. The mineral soils and alpine climate are typical of this region, with warm days and cool nights, which allow the grapes to ripen slowly and evenly.
A special feature of Sylvaner DOC 2023 is its storage. After harvesting, the wine is aged for up to six months on fine lees in steel tanks and in large wooden barrels. This method gives the wine extra complexity and depth.
