The Sauvignon DOC Selection Turmhof 2023 from Tiefenbrunner is a precise, clean expression of the variety, which thrives particularly well in South Tyrol’s cooler, elevated vineyard sites. The Turmhof Selection features the estate’s most characterful wines, sourced from selected plots and crafted with meticulous vineyard work to highlight freshness, structure and strong varietal definition. Hand harvesting and gentle processing help preserve the wine’s aromatic clarity and purity. In the glass, it shows a bright straw yellow with subtle green reflections, indicating vibrancy and youth. The nose reveals an intense, multi-layered bouquet of green bell pepper, gooseberry, citrus and fine herbal tones, complemented by a delicate mineral note that adds depth. On the palate, the wine is dry, fresh and harmonious, supported by lively acidity that enhances the fruit and delivers balance and tension. The finish is clean, precise and persistent, fully in line with the structured Turmhof style. A Sauvignon offering freshness, finesse and expressive character.
