The Rosato del Salento 2025 by Rosa del Golfo is a classic Apulian rosé that captures the Salento style with great clarity: dry, fruit-driven and pleasantly precise. The winery is regarded as one of the region’s best-known names for rosato, recognised for wines that combine Mediterranean character with clean, straightforward winemaking. In the glass, the 2025 shows a bright rosé colour with brilliant clarity. On the nose, it is fresh and inviting, offering aromas of strawberry, raspberry and red cherry, supported by subtle citrus notes and a delicate floral touch. On the palate, it is dry, juicy and well balanced, with lively acidity, clean fruit and an elegant, slightly saline nuance that adds extra tension. The texture remains light and easy-flowing without feeling thin, and the finish is clean, fresh and pleasantly persistent. Overall, this is a very typical Salento rosato: uncomplicated in the best sense, yet with enough structure and precision to be more than just a simple summer wine. A rosé focused on drinkability, while still clearly showing style and regional identity.
