Pieropan's Soave Classico DOC La Rocca BIO 2024 is an outstanding organic white wine made from 100% Garganega grapes. This grape variety is known for its ability to produce wines with great structure and elegance. The grapes come from the single-vineyard La Rocca, which is located on Monte Rocchetta below the medieval castle of Soave. This location offers a unique microclimate, which contributes to the development of complex aromas and a particular minerality. This wine is characterised by a bright golden yellow colour. On the nose, it develops a rich bouquet with notes of ripe yellow fruits, tropical fruits, white flowers and a touch of vanilla and spices. On the palate, it is full-bodied and harmonious, with remarkable freshness and a long, elegant structure.

The special feature of La Rocca lies in its maturation. The wine is fermented in large oak barrels and then aged on fine lees for about a year before being bottled. This method gives it additional complexity and depth. The wines from the Soave Classico Zone are typical of the calcareous clay soils and the western orientation of the vineyards, which ensure optimal solar radiation and temperature regulation.
