The vineyards are located close to the sea in the Bolgheri area, where sandy-clay soils and constant maritime breezes create ideal conditions for fresh, mineral-driven white wines. The name “Le Pinete” refers to the characteristic coastal pine groves of the region and highlights the wine’s maritime origin. The producer describes it as a white wine with inviting fruit and vibrant salinity. Vermentino is one of the most important white grape varieties along the Tyrrhenian coast and finds one of its most elegant expressions in Bolgheri. The proximity to the sea often gives the wine a refined saline minerality, combined with pure fruit and lively freshness. Compared to versions from warmer inland areas, the style here is typically more focused, airy, and precise. In the glass, it shows a light golden yellow colour. The nose reveals notes of citrus fruit, peach blossom, and delicate tropical nuances. On the palate, the wine is fresh, juicy, and harmonious, supported by lively acidity, savoury minerality, and a clean, persistent finish.
