The Kerner DOC 2025 from Taschlerhof is a distinctive white wine from the Eisack Valley, one of South Tyrol’s most renowned regions for white wine production. The vines grow on steep slopes around Brixen at elevations ranging from approximately 600 to 750 metres above sea level. Sunny days and cool nights promote slow ripening, allowing the grapes to develop intense aromas and vibrant freshness. Mineral-rich soils composed of slate and glacial moraine deposits add depth and a pronounced mineral character to the wine. The grapes are harvested and handled with great care to preserve the varietal’s purity and expressive aromatic profile. The Alpine climate of the Eisack Valley shapes the wine’s style, giving it elegance, precision and distinctive character. In the glass, it displays a bright straw-yellow colour with greenish reflections. The bouquet reveals aromas of ripe peach, apricot and citrus fruits, complemented by delicate nutmeg notes and floral nuances. On the palate, it is fresh and harmonious, featuring precise fruit, lively acidity, refined minerality and a long, aromatic finish.
