The Dagromis Barolo DOP 2021 from Gaja comes from the heart of the Langhe and is made from grapes grown in La Morra and Serralunga d’Alba. This combination defines its style: La Morra contributes elegance and aromatic finesse, while Serralunga adds structure, depth, and aging potential, resulting in a well-balanced and complex Barolo.
Nebbiolo is the defining grape of Barolo and thrives in these hills. The calcareous-clay soils and the Langhe climate support refined aromatic development and a firm tannic structure.
In the 2021 vintage, Nebbiolo shows a precise balance between ripeness and freshness, with particularly clear and expressive aromas.
In the glass, it displays a bright garnet red color. On the nose, it reveals aromas of red berries, cherry, and subtle floral notes, complemented by hints of spice and earth. On the palate, it is elegant and structured, with well-integrated tannins, vibrant acidity, and a long, harmonious finish.
