The Perdixi Isola dei Nuraghi IGT 2023 from Olianas is an expressive Sardinian blend of Bovale and Carignano that reflects the distinctive character of the island. The estate follows organic and biodynamic farming principles, making this a certified organic wine. The grapes come from the Sarcidano area in the heart of Sardinia, where the Mediterranean climate and diverse soils provide ideal conditions for producing expressive red wines. The two grape varieties complement each other perfectly: Bovale contributes structure and intensity, while Carignano adds elegance and aromatic depth. After vinification, the wine is aged in oak barrels and then further matured in the bottle, creating a harmonious balance between fruit, spice, and tannin structure. The result is an authentic red wine that fully expresses the identity of its Sardinian origin. In the glass, the wine displays an intense ruby-red color. The bouquet combines aromas of dark berries with delicate notes of licorice, vanilla, and balsamic nuances. On the palate, it is fresh and powerful, with a well-integrated tannin structure and a long, harmonious finish.
