The Pinot Blanc IGT Art 2023 from Weingut Abraham is a precise and terroir-driven South Tyrolean white wine that expresses the elegance of this grape variety in a particularly authentic way. Pinot Blanc is one of South Tyrol’s most important white varieties and, especially around Eppan on calcareous soils, develops an impressive combination of freshness, minerality and depth. In this terroir, the grape shows a taut structure and a refined, clear aromatic profile.

The grapes come from vineyards in higher-altitude sites on marine limestone soils. Fermentation takes place spontaneously in used wooden barrels, followed by ageing on fine lees, which adds further tension, texture and elegance to the wine. This precise and nature-oriented vinification perfectly reflects the signature style of Weingut Abraham and highlights the origin of the wine with great clarity. In the glass, it shows a pale straw yellow colour with greenish reflections. The bouquet reveals green apple, pear, citrus zest and a fine saline minerality. On the palate, it is taut, fresh and elegant, with lively acidity, precise fruit and a long mineral finish that beautifully reflects the limestone terroir.
