The Il Conte IGT 2024 from Manincor is a certified organic wine that brings together Merlot, Lagrein and Cabernet Sauvignon in a distinctive South Tyrolean blend. The grapes come from the Manincor and Panholzerhof vineyards near Lake Caldaro, where sandy clay soils rich in limestone and glacial deposits provide ideal conditions for structured red wines. Each variety is vinified separately and then aged for around twelve months in wooden barrels of different sizes, creating a wine that harmoniously combines fruit, elegance and depth. In the glass, it displays a deep ruby-red colour. The bouquet offers aromas of blackberries, black cherries and plums, complemented by delicate spicy notes. On the palate, it is juicy and well balanced, with concentrated fruit, silky tannins and hints of licorice and tobacco. Its long and elegant finish highlights the character of this South Tyrolean organic blend.
