The White Cuvée DOC 1930 TAL 2022 by Kellerei Bozen is an elegant South Tyrolean white blend that pays tribute to the historic origins of the winery, founded in 1930. The composition of Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, and Pinot Grigio brings together three grape varieties that ripen with remarkable precision and terroir expression in the elevated vineyards around Leitach and Renon. In South Tyrol, these varieties benefit from significant day-to-night temperature shifts, which give the wine freshness, aromatic depth, and pronounced minerality. Chardonnay contributes structure and body, Sauvignon Blanc adds tension and vibrancy, while Pinot Grigio completes the blend with elegance and refined fruit. The vineyards, located between 400 and 700 metres above sea level, provide additional precision and complexity. The unique balance of Alpine climate and Mediterranean influence around Bolzano is reflected in a wine of remarkable harmony and ageing potential. In the glass, it shows a bright straw-yellow colour. On the nose, it reveals aromas of ripe yellow fruit, citrus, white flowers, and delicate mineral nuances. On the palate, it is full-bodied and harmonious, supported by freshness, mineral tension, a creamy structure, and a long, elegant finish.
