Manni Nössing: Weinbergstraße 66, 39042 Brixen, Südtirol (IT)
The Riesling DOC 2024 from Manni Nössing originates from the high-altitude vineyards surrounding Brixen in the Isarco Valley, where the vines grow on steep slopes with mineral-rich gravel and primary rock soils. The significant temperature differences between warm days and cool nights allow the grapes to ripen slowly, giving the wine exceptional freshness and elegance. Gentle vinification followed by aging in stainless steel tanks on its fine lees preserves the purity and distinctive character of this grape variety.
In the glass, the wine displays a bright straw-yellow color with greenish reflections. The bouquet reveals aromas of white peach, apricot, and citrus fruits, complemented by delicate floral and mineral notes. On the palate, it is precise and lively, featuring vibrant acidity, elegant minerality, and a clear expression of fruit. The long, harmonious finish highlights the finesse and unmistakable character of this Riesling from the Isarco Valley.
