Abfüller Informationen
Massolino Vigna Rionda Piazza Maria Cappellano, 8 12050 Serralunga d'Alba (CN), IT
The Barolo DOCG 2022 from Massolino brings together the character of several vineyards in Serralunga d’Alba and reflects the classic style of one of the Langhe’s most renowned wines. The grapes are grown on limestone-rich soils that provide structure, elegance, and excellent aging potential. The winery follows a traditional winemaking approach with an extended fermentation and long skin maceration in wooden vats. The wine is then aged for up to 30 months in large Slavonian oak casks before spending additional time maturing in the bottle. This classic aging process preserves the authentic expression of Nebbiolo while highlighting the distinctive character of its origin.
In the glass, it displays an intense garnet-red color. The bouquet is layered and complex, offering spicy notes, floral hints, aromas of red fruits, and delicate sweet nuances. On the palate, it is powerful yet harmonious, with a firm structure, well-balanced tannins, and an impressively long, elegant finish that showcases the outstanding potential of this classic Barolo.
