The Nebbiolo DOC 2024 from Massolino reflects the winemaking heritage of the Langhe and offers an authentic expression of this renowned Piedmontese grape variety. The grapes are sourced from selected vineyards around Serralunga d’Alba, one of the most prestigious villages in the Barolo area. Calcareous clay soils and the region’s balanced climate provide ideal conditions for developing structure, elegance and aromatic depth. Through careful vineyard management and respectful winemaking, this Nebbiolo fully expresses its origin and varietal character. The balance of fruit, freshness and refined tannins makes it approachable at a young age while preserving the classic profile for which Nebbiolo is known. In the glass, it displays a bright ruby-red colour with subtle garnet reflections. The bouquet reveals aromas of red berries, cherries and delicate violet notes, complemented by gentle spicy nuances. On the palate, it is harmonious and elegant, featuring lively acidity, well-integrated tannins and a long finish marked by fruit-driven and lightly spicy accents.
