The Kurtatsch Pinot Grigio DOC Penon 2024 is an expressive white wine from Alto Adige. Its grapes grow in the high-altitude hamlet of Penon above Kurtatsch, where cool nights, sunny days and permeable soils with clay, sand, gravel and dolomite shape the wine’s character. This site brings freshness, tension and clear alpine elegance to Pinot Grigio. After fermentation, the wine matures on the fine lees, gaining depth, structure and a smooth expression while retaining its lively character.
In the glass, the wine appears bright, clear and inviting. The aroma recalls yellow peach, old pear varieties and honeydew melon. On the palate, it is dense, juicy and at the same time fresh, with fine minerality, elegant structure and a long, harmonious finish. A versatile Pinot Grigio with character, ideal with fish, white meat, vegetable dishes and refined South Tyrolean cuisine.
