The Vermentino IGT Poggio Belvedere 2024 by Arnaldo Caprai is an elegant white wine from Umbria that combines the Mediterranean freshness of this grape variety with the clear style of the Montefalco terroir. Vermentino is less common in Central Italy than in the coastal regions, yet in selected vineyard sites of Umbria it is increasingly showing remarkable character. The rolling hillside soils around Montefalco give the wine precise freshness, fine minerality and a beautifully harmonious structure.

The wine is made exclusively from 100% Vermentino and presents itself as a modern, approachable white wine with a clearly defined varietal profile. With an alcohol content of 13% vol., it offers an attractive balance between freshness and body. In this expression, the grape variety beautifully highlights its typical aromatic clarity and makes an excellent, versatile food companion. In the glass, it shows a pale straw yellow colour with greenish-golden reflections. The bouquet opens with white flowers, fresh yellow fruit and delicate citrus notes. On the palate, it is fresh, dry and lively, with subtle salinity, harmonious acidity and a pleasantly fruity, persistent finish.
