The Cabernet Riserva Mumelter 2022 from Bolzano Winery is a distinguished blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc, combining the finest qualities of both varieties in a harmonious cuvée. The grapes are sourced from sunny hillside vineyards around Bolzano, where they grow on weathered porphyry soils at an altitude of approximately 330 meters. These unique growing conditions give the wine depth, structure, and a distinctive character.

As a Riserva, Mumelter benefits from extended maturation, allowing it to develop additional complexity and refinement. Following the traditional fermentation of the red grapes in wooden vats, the wine is aged for around one year in both French oak barriques and large wooden casks. This aging process enhances its elegance and balance while seamlessly integrating its fruit and spicy notes. In the glass, the wine displays a deep ruby-red color with violet reflections. The bouquet reveals aromas of blackcurrant, blackberry, and cranberry, complemented by delicate hints of pepper and subtle toasted notes. On the palate, it is powerful and intense yet harmonious, featuring an elegant structure and a long, well-balanced finish.
