The St. Magdalener Klassisch DOC 2025 from Bolzano Winery is one of South Tyrol’s most traditional red wines, closely connected to the sun-drenched slopes of St. Magdalena above Bolzano. The vineyards are planted on warm moraine soils and benefit from a unique combination of Alpine and Mediterranean influences. These conditions give the wine its characteristic elegance, freshness and refined fruit profile. 


The blend of Schiava and a small proportion of Lagrein defines the authentic character of this historic appellation. The interaction of terroir, climate and careful winemaking results in an approachable yet distinctive wine that has been regarded as one of South Tyrol’s classic specialties for generations. In the glass, it displays a bright ruby-red colour. The bouquet reveals aromas of red cherries, violets and wild berries, complemented by delicate almond notes. On the palate, it is soft, harmonious and pleasantly fresh, with an elegant structure and gentle tannins. The refined finish is marked by lingering fruity and floral nuances.
