The Bardolino Classico DOC Vigne Alte 2025 from
Cantina Zeni is a typical red wine from
Veneto produced in the historic Bardolino Classico area on the
eastern shore of Lake Garda. The vineyards grow on moraine hills, formed by ancient glacial deposits, which give the wines freshness and subtle minerality. The mild climate of Lake Garda, with warm days and cooler nights, allows the grapes to ripen evenly and contributes to the elegant and balanced style of this Bardolino.
The wine is made from the traditional regional grape varieties
Corvina and
Rondinella. Corvina brings elegance, bright fruit aromas and fine structure, while Rondinella contributes freshness and balance. The grapes are harvested by hand and carefully selected at optimal ripeness. Fermentation takes place with
around 4–6 days of skin maceration, after which the wine is
aged in stainless steel tanks to preserve freshness and purity of fruit.
In the glass, Bardolino Classico Vigne Alte 2025 shows a bright ruby red colour. The bouquet is intense and fruity, accompanied by a subtle vinous note. On the palate the wine is fresh, harmonious and well balanced, with lively fruit and an elegant structure. The finish is pleasant and fragrant, typical of Bardolino wines from the Lake Garda area.
