The Pinot Grigio DOC 2024 from Griesbauerhof is an elegant South Tyrolean white wine that beautifully expresses the refined and structured style of this grape variety. The grapes come from vineyards in Appiano at around 500 metres above sea level, where the gentle slope and moraine soils with limestone deposits provide ideal conditions for precise and mineral-driven white wines. In South Tyrol, Pinot Grigio develops remarkable clarity of fruit and freshness thanks to the cool nights and favourable altitude. Vinification takes place in stainless steel tanks, preserving the grape’s varietal purity and natural elegance. The 2024 vintage perfectly reflects the estate’s style, offering a fine balance between finesse and structure. In the glass, it shows a bright pale straw-yellow colour. The nose reveals delicate aromas of pear, green apple, and light citrus notes, accompanied by a subtle mineral nuance. On the palate, it is fresh, balanced, and juicy, with fine structure, pleasant freshness, and a clean, harmonious finish.
