The Gewürztraminer DOC Selida 2025 from Tramin Winery originates from the sun-drenched vineyards surrounding Tramin, the historic birthplace of this aromatic grape variety. The vines grow on calcareous clay and gravel soils at elevations between 300 and 500 metres above sea level. The mild climate, with warm days and cool nights, provides ideal conditions for developing the intense aromatics that have made South Tyrolean Gewürztraminer renowned worldwide.

Significant temperature differences between day and night encourage the development of a particularly complex and precise aromatic profile. Ageing in stainless steel tanks preserves the wine’s freshness and purity, allowing the distinctive character of the variety to shine through. The result is a wine that elegantly reflects its origin, grape variety and winemaking style.

In the glass, it displays a bright straw-yellow colour with golden reflections. The bouquet reveals intense aromas of rose petals, lychee and tropical fruits, complemented by delicate spicy nuances. On the palate, it is full-bodied and elegant, featuring juicy fruit, harmonious structure and refreshing balance. The long finish is marked by floral and exotic notes that highlight the wine’s distinctive personality.
