The Gewürztraminer DOC 2025 from Neustift Monastery Winery combines the Alpine freshness of the Eisack Valley with the intense aromatics of one of South Tyrol’s most distinctive grape varieties. The vineyards are located on sunny slopes surrounding Neustift Monastery and benefit from significant temperature differences between warm days and cool mountain nights. These conditions encourage the development of expressive fruit, delicate spice and remarkable freshness. Mineral-rich soils and the region’s unique microclimate give the wine its elegant structure and precise character. Ageing in stainless steel tanks preserves the varietal’s defining traits, allowing its aromatic profile to remain pure and vibrant. In the glass, it displays a bright straw-yellow colour with golden reflections. The bouquet reveals intense aromas of rose petals, lychee and exotic fruits, complemented by delicate spicy nuances. On the palate, it is full-bodied and harmonious, featuring juicy fruit, balanced freshness and an elegant structure. The long finish is marked by floral and spicy notes that highlight the unmistakable character of this South Tyrolean Gewürztraminer.
