The Gewürztraminer DOC 2024 from the Terra line by Ritterhof is a classic South Tyrolean white wine with pronounced aromatic typicity. The grapes come from traditional growing areas around Tramin and Caldaro, at altitudes of 300 to 450 meters on gravelly, clay and porphyry soils. After hand harvesting, the grapes are gently processed, briefly cold macerated and fermented in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures to best preserve the varietal aromas. Gewürztraminer is one of South Tyrol’s most representative white grape varieties, known for its intense aromatic profile and spicy structure. It produces expressive wines with floral and exotic notes. In the glass, the wine shows a bright straw yellow color with green reflections. On the nose, typical aromas of rose, clove and floral nuances emerge. On the palate, it is dry, full-bodied and aromatic with a balanced structure and a long, elegant finish.
