The Solaris IGT 2025 from Plonerhof Estate is produced from the disease-resistant Solaris grape variety and comes from a vineyard located at around 1,000 meters above sea level in the Val Venosta. The exceptional altitude, abundant sunshine, and cool Alpine nights create ideal conditions for the slow ripening of the grapes and the development of intense aromatic complexity. Thanks to its natural resistance to fungal diseases, Solaris is particularly well suited to environmentally conscious viticulture with minimal plant protection treatments. After careful hand harvesting, the grapes are gently processed and fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. The wine is also aged in stainless steel, preserving its freshness and the authentic character of the variety. The result is a modern white wine with a distinctive personality that harmoniously combines elegance and expressive character. In the glass, it displays a bright straw-yellow color. The bouquet reveals aromas of pineapple, white peach, mountain apples, and delicate herbal notes. On the palate, it is full-bodied yet elegant, with lively acidity, juicy fruit, and a long, harmonious finish.
