Located in the heart of South Tyrol, Nals Margreid Winery is one of the region’s most respected producers, known for combining Alpine freshness with Mediterranean influence. The winery was created through the merger of two historic wine-growing communities, bringing together generations of viticultural knowledge and some of the most diverse vineyard sites in northern Italy. Today, Nals Margreid is widely appreciated for wines that express precision, elegance and a strong sense of place.

The vineyards stretch across a remarkable range of altitudes between Nalles (Nals) and Magrè (Margreid), benefiting from South Tyrol’s unique climate. Warm days, cool nights and significant temperature differences during the growing season help preserve freshness and aromatic complexity in the grapes. Diverse soils, including limestone, gravel and porphyry, further shape the winery’s distinctive wine style.

Nals Margreid is especially renowned for its white wines, which play an important role in South Tyrol’s wine identity. Sauvignon Blanc is among the flagship varieties, producing expressive wines with freshness, minerality and vibrant aromatics. Chardonnay also performs exceptionally well, offering structure and elegance shaped by Alpine conditions. Another important grape is Gewürztraminer, one of the region’s signature varieties, known for its aromatic intensity and refined character.
