The Gewürztraminer DOC Lyra 2024 from Nals Margreid showcases the aromatic expression of one of South Tyrol’s most distinctive grape varieties with remarkable precision. The grapes come from selected vineyards in the warmer areas around Margreid and Tramin, where sunny days and cooler nights create ideal conditions for slow and balanced ripening. In South Tyrol, Gewürztraminer is one of the region’s most traditional varieties and finds particularly favourable conditions around Tramin, where it develops its intense aromatics while maintaining elegance and structure.

Nals Margreid follows a careful approach in the vineyard and cellar to preserve the grape’s freshness, aromatic clarity and varietal complexity. The combination of alpine climate and Mediterranean influences results in a wine that balances aromatic intensity with finesse and harmony. In the glass, the wine displays a bright straw-yellow colour with golden reflections. The bouquet reveals aromas of rose petals, exotic fruit and ripe citrus, complemented by delicate spicy nuances. On the palate, the Gewürztraminer is expressive yet elegant, with harmonious fruit, refined spice and lively freshness leading to a balanced and persistent finish.
