The Brut Riserva Trento DOC R 2017 from Cantina Rotaliana is a premium sparkling wine produced using the traditional Metodo Classico with secondary fermentation in the bottle. The Brut Riserva designation indicates a significantly longer ageing period on the lees than a standard Trento DOC. This extended maturation adds remarkable complexity, depth and elegance while creating an exceptionally fine and persistent mousse. The grapes come from carefully selected vineyards in Trentino, where the Alpine climate, with warm sunny days and cool nights, provides ideal conditions for producing world-class sparkling wines. During its long lees ageing, the wine develops refined structure, finesse and impressive ageing potential. The Brut Riserva R perfectly expresses the combination of meticulous craftsmanship and the distinctive terroir of Trentino. Its extended lees ageing gives it outstanding elegance and a unique personality. In the glass, it displays a brilliant golden-yellow colour with a fine, persistent stream of bubbles. The bouquet reveals aromas of ripe apple, citrus fruit and white flowers, complemented by delicate notes of brioche, toasted hazelnuts and yeast. On the palate, it is dry, creamy and precise, with vibrant freshness, elegant minerality and a long, harmonious finish.
