The Sauvignon DOC 2025 from Muri-Gries Winery is a distinctive white wine from South Tyrol, reflecting the alpine freshness and precise style of the region. The grapes are grown in vineyards around Appiano at altitudes of 460 to 500 meters, where strong day-night temperature variations enhance aromatic development. Vinification takes place exclusively in stainless steel tanks, preserving the varietal purity and clarity of the wine. Sauvignon is one of the most widely known white grape varieties worldwide, appreciated for its expressive aromatics and vibrant acidity. In South Tyrol, it develops an elegant and mineral-driven style with remarkable freshness and precision. In the glass, it appears pale straw yellow with greenish reflections. On the nose, it reveals aromas of fresh peach and ripe gooseberry, accompanied by hints of nettle and lemon balm. On the palate, it is juicy, mineral, and well-balanced, with lively acidity and a refined structure. The finish is long, fresh, and elegant.
