The Soave Classico DOC Contrada Salvarenza BIO 2022 from Gini is one of the great white wines from the historic heart of the Soave region in Veneto. The grapes come from the renowned Contrada Salvarenza in Monteforte d’Alpone, one of the most prestigious cru sites of the appellation. The vines, some of them very old and in part ungrafted, grow on volcanic basalt and tuff soils, which give the wine its pronounced minerality and remarkable ageing potential. The wine is made from 100% Garganega, the indigenous grape variety at the heart of great Soave Classico wines, capable of expressing exceptional precision and depth in this area. It is also a certified organic wine.

Ageing takes place partly in stainless steel and partly in oak, creating a perfect balance between freshness and structure. In the glass, it shows a bright straw-yellow colour with golden reflections. The nose reveals elegant aromas of apricot, white peach, yellow blossom, and fine mineral and spicy nuances. On the palate, it is dense, precise, and almost creamy, supported by fine salinity, lively freshness, and a long, deeply mineral finish.
