The Gewürztraminer DOC Kleinstein 2025 from Kellerei Bozen is a highly expressive South Tyrolean white wine that beautifully combines grape variety, altitude and microclimate. The grapes come from steep porphyry vineyards on the Ritten plateau above Bolzano at around 650 metres above sea level. This combination of sunny days, cool nights and mineral-rich soils gives the Gewürztraminer remarkable aromatic depth while maintaining outstanding freshness. In South Tyrol, this variety is one of the region’s most distinctive white wines and, at higher elevations, develops an elegant balance between intensity and finesse. Stainless steel vinification preserves the purity of the fruit and enhances the wine’s clean, terroir-driven style. In the glass, it shows an intense straw-yellow colour with golden reflections. The bouquet reveals layered aromas of rose petals, cloves, lychee, grapefruit and exotic fruit, accompanied by a delicate hint of honey. On the palate it is full-bodied, aromatic and structured, with elegant spice, fine minerality and a long, harmonious finish.
