The Neprica IGT 2025 from Tormaresca is made entirely from Primitivo and originates from the region of Apulia in southern Italy. Tormaresca is part of the historic Antinori family, which has represented excellence in Italian winemaking for generations and is dedicated to showcasing the potential of regional grape varieties through its estates. For this wine, the grapes are carefully handled and fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. After the completion of malolactic fermentation, the wine matures for several months in stainless steel before additional bottle aging, creating a harmonious balance between fruit and structure. In the glass, the wine displays an intense ruby-red color with violet reflections. The bouquet is dominated by aromas of red fruits such as morello cherry and plum, complemented by delicate notes of candied orange, floral hints of wild rose, and a touch of licorice. On the palate, it is juicy and well-structured, offering pleasant freshness, balanced spice, and a long, fruit-driven finish.
