The Cerasuolo d’Abruzzo DOC Frentano 2025 from Cantina Frentana originates from the rolling hills along the Costa dei Trabocchi in Abruzzo, where clay-rich soils and proximity to the sea create ideal conditions for fresh and expressive rosé wines. The grapes are hand-harvested, usually in mid-October, to ensure optimal ripeness and aromatic precision. It is made exclusively from Montepulciano, one of the region’s most important grape varieties. In Abruzzo, within the Cerasuolo style, it shows remarkable versatility: short skin contact results in a rosé with intense color and a fresh, fruit-driven profile, clearly standing apart from lighter rosés. In the glass, it displays a typical cherry-red hue. The bouquet features red berries such as strawberry and raspberry, along with delicate floral notes. On the palate, it is dry, round, and balanced, with juicy fruit, lively acidity, and a well-structured finish that is fresh and fruity.
