The Rosso Conero DOC 2024 from Fattoria Le Terrazze is a distinctive red wine from the Marche region, reflecting the winemaking traditions of Italy's Adriatic coast. Made exclusively from Montepulciano grapes, it comes from vineyards surrounding Monte Conero, near Numana. The history of this wine dates back to 1967. Following temperature-controlled fermentation and a short period of skin maceration, the wine matures for twelve months in large oak barrels. It then spends a further nine months in stainless steel tanks. Its versatility makes it an excellent pairing for traditional regional meat dishes, pasta and medium-aged cheeses. In the glass, it displays a brilliant ruby-red colour with violet reflections. Its fruity bouquet reveals inviting aromas of cherries and plums. On the palate, it impresses with a soft, juicy structure, harmonious tannins and pleasant elegance.
