Champagne Brut Rosé Millésimé
Louis Roederer Champagne Brut Rosé Millésimé 2018 comes from the “La Rivière” vineyard estate and is made from Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. For this vintage, the House placed greater emphasis on cooler vineyard sites in order to combine the ripe, juicy character of Pinot Noir with additional freshness and a more defined structure. A significant proportion of the grapes comes from Cumières, complemented by other carefully selected plots. The harvest took place between late August and early September 2018. For its Rosé, Louis Roederer uses a distinctive infusion method: the Pinot Noir undergoes a long and gentle maceration to extract ripe fruit and colour while preserving its characteristic freshness. Chardonnay completes the cuvée, contributing precision and tension. In the glass, the Champagne displays an intense pink colour with bright red highlights and a lively stream of bubbles. The nose combines fresh citrus notes with red fruits, particularly wild raspberry. On the palate, it is broad and juicy yet distinctly chalky and fresh, with a velvety texture, fine tannic structure and a long, savoury, saline finish.
