The Cannonau di Sardegna DOC Marghia 2022 from Antichi Poderi Jerzu is an impressive red wine from Sardinia. It is made from 100% Cannonau grapes, which are also known locally as Grenache. This grape is particularly appreciated for its strong fruit aromas and soft tannins. .The vineyards are located at altitudes of 150 to 180 meters above sea level and benefit from the Mediterranean climate with hot summers and mild winters. The soils consist mainly of limestone and clay, which gives the wine a distinctive minerality. The grapes are harvested by hand and stored on the skins at a controlled temperature for 10 days after pressing.
