The Garganega IGT Veneto Vigne Alte 2025 from
Cantina Zeni is a fresh white wine from the
Veneto region made from the traditional
Garganega grape variety. The grapes come from vineyards located in the province of Verona, where well-exposed hills and moraine soils provide ideal conditions for cultivating this regional variety. The
“Vigne Alte” line represents a careful selection of grapes from well-situated vineyards with optimal sun exposure and balanced ripening.
Garganega is one of the most important white grape varieties in northern Italy and plays a central role in many wines from the Verona area. It is known for its delicate floral aromas and balanced structure, often accompanied by notes of white blossoms and a subtle almond nuance. For this wine, the grapes are harvested by hand and carefully selected. After a short skin contact, they are gently pressed and the must undergoes temperature-controlled fermentation. The wine is then
aged in stainless steel tanks to preserve freshness and aromatic purity.
In the glass, Garganega Vigne Alte 2025 shows a pale straw-yellow colour. The bouquet is delicate yet expressive, with aromas of white flowers, green apple and a hint of banana. On the palate the wine is fresh, smooth and harmonious, with balanced structure and a pleasant finish.
