The Valpolicella Valpantena 2024 from Bertani originates from the renowned Valpantena wine-growing area north of Verona in the Veneto region. The vineyards are located on both the eastern and western slopes of the valley, where limestone and marl soils provide ideal conditions for cultivating the traditional varieties 80% Corvina Veronese and 20% Rondinella. The vines are trained using both Guyot and Pergola systems. After fermentation, the wine matures for around six months in concrete tanks, followed by a further three months of bottle ageing, preserving its freshness and authentic regional character. In the glass, it displays a bright ruby red colour and stands out for its approachable elegance. The bouquet reveals aromas of fresh pomegranate, red currant and delicate Mediterranean herbs. On the palate, it is juicy, lively and harmonious, supported by refreshing acidity and a well-balanced structure. Its fruit-driven and easy-drinking style makes it a versatile companion to Mediterranean cuisine and an authentic expression of the Valpantena terroir.
