The Pinot Blanc DOC Val Venosta 2025 from Cantina Merano comes from the high-altitude vineyards of the Val Venosta, one of the highest and driest wine-growing areas in South Tyrol. The vines grow on mineral-rich soils and benefit from abundant sunshine and cool nights, allowing the grapes to retain their freshness and precise aromatic character. With its "Vinschgau" Line (Val Venosta), Cantina Merano highlights the unique conditions of this Alpine region, showcasing its distinctive identity and sense of origin. After careful hand harvesting, the grapes are gently processed and fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. Aging on the fine lees adds harmony and elegance while preserving the wine’s pure and refined style. In the glass, it displays a pale straw-yellow color with greenish reflections. The bouquet reveals aromas of apple, pear, and delicate citrus fruits, complemented by floral nuances and a subtle mineral note. On the palate, it is fresh and well-balanced, with lively acidity, elegant structure, and a long, harmonious finish.
