Teroldego Rotaliano Riserva DOC
The Teroldego Rotaliano Riserva DOC 2023 from Cantina Rotaliana is made exclusively from Teroldego grapes. The grapes come from selected vineyards in the Piana Rotaliana, where the vines are more than 40 years old on average. The vineyards include the renowned areas of Pasquari, Novali and Pozze and are characterised by well-drained soils rich in pebbles, gravel and sand. The grapes are harvested by hand, generally from late September onwards. After fermentation in stainless steel, the wine matures for 24 months in French oak barriques. In this case, the Riserva designation reflects an extended ageing period that gives the Teroldego additional depth and complexity. In the glass, it shows a ruby-red colour tending towards garnet. The bouquet offers aromas of fresh cherries and cherry preserve, complemented by delicate hints of vanilla. On the palate, it is smooth, balanced and spicy, with a long, persistent finish.
