Produced using the Metodo Classico, this sparkling wine undergoes extended ageing on the lees, gaining finesse, structure and aromatic depth. The Athesis range represents Kettmeir’s wines of particular distinction and takes its name from the ancient Latin word for the Adige River, a defining element of South Tyrol’s wine landscape.
For this Brut Classico, Kettmeir selects Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc and Pinot Noir, grape varieties that thrive in South Tyrol’s cooler high-altitude vineyards. Strong temperature differences between day and night help preserve freshness, vibrant acidity and aromatic precision – essential qualities for high-quality sparkling wines.
