The Chardonnay DOC Doss 2025 from Castelfeder comes from selected vineyards in the southern part of South Tyrol, one of the region’s most suitable areas for expressive white wines. Warm days combined with cool nights allow the grapes to reach optimal ripeness while preserving freshness and balance. The well-drained, partly calcareous soils contribute to the wine’s precision and structure. After harvest, the grapes are handled gently and fermented at controlled temperatures to preserve their varietal character. Aging takes place mainly in stainless steel, highlighting a clean and fruit-driven style.

In South Tyrol, Chardonnay stands out for its elegance and versatility. In the southern zones in particular, it develops a harmonious balance between ripe fruit and vibrant acidity. The alpine influence brings freshness and clarity, shaping a style that is both approachable and refined. In the glass, it shows a pale straw yellow with green reflections. The nose reveals aromas of ripe apple, pear, and citrus, complemented by subtle floral notes. On the palate, it is fresh and well-balanced, with lively acidity, juicy fruit, and a clean, harmonious finish.
