The Manni Nössing Kerner DOC 2025 comes from the Isarco Valley and is considered one of the most representative white wines of the Hoandlhof estate near Bressanone. The Kerner grape thrives in the valley’s high-altitude, cool climate, producing wines that are especially fresh, aromatic and mineral-driven. The grapes are selectively harvested and gently processed. Fermentation takes place at controlled temperatures, followed by ageing in stainless steel tanks and partly in large wooden casks on the fine lees, enhancing structure and complexity.
In the glass, the wine shows a clear, pale yellow colour. The bouquet reveals citrus fruit, green apple and delicate herbal notes, supported by a distinctive alpine minerality. On the palate, the Kerner is dry, fresh and precise, with lively acidity, juicy fruit and a clean, linear finish. Manni Nössing has long been known for producing distinctive, terroir-driven white wines with an alpine character and is regarded as a benchmark producer for Kerner in the Isarco Valley.
