Dom Pérignon is firmly dedicated to vintage Champagne: each cuvée is created to unite the character of a single year with the distinctive style of the House. Vintage 2015 is composed of 51% Pinot Noir and 49% Chardonnay. The growing season was marked by striking climatic contrasts. An unusually cool spring was followed by a long, hot and dry period before the harvest began in early September. At harvest, the grapes were healthy, balanced and showed remarkable aromatic concentration. The extended maturation contributes to Vintage 2015’s distinctive combination of depth, structure and refined texture. The power of Pinot Noir meets the freshness of Chardonnay in a balanced and precisely composed cuvée. In the glass, the Champagne displays a deep golden colour with amber reflections and a fine perlage. The aroma combines roasted notes and cocoa with lime blossom, jasmine and peony, complemented by aniseed, cardamom, orange and green papaya. On the palate, peach, nectarine and citrus unfold within a generous yet finely structured texture.
