The Cabernet Franc „Duemani“ 2021 is a powerful, single-varietal red wine from Costa Toscana IGT, fully expressing the strength, depth, and elegance of Cabernet Franc. It is made entirely from 100 % Cabernet Franc, a grape variety that develops remarkable aromatic concentration, ripe fruit intensity, and structure in the Maremma area around Riparbella. In the glass, this vintage displays a deep, bright ruby color, signaling both concentration and presence. The nose reveals a complex bouquet of ripe dark berries, particularly blackberries and blackcurrants, complemented by subtle spice, finely integrated tobacco, balsamic hints, and a fresh coastal minerality. On the palate, the Duemani Cabernet Franc 2021 is powerful yet elegant, with silky tannins, concentrated fruit, and a lively, slightly saline acidity. The complexity gained from 20 months aging in French barriques (mostly new) adds depth and a harmonious structure to the wine. This Cabernet Franc combines full-bodied fruit, spicy depth, and elegance in a long-lived, structured wine, ideal with matured meats, game, braised sauces, or aged cheeses, with an aging potential of several years.
