Donnafugata Lighea 2025 is an aromatic Sicilian white wine made from Zibibbo grapes. The grapes come from the island of Pantelleria, located southwest of Sicily. Shaped by strong winds and its distinctive volcanic landscape, the island gives the wine a clear Mediterranean identity and a strong connection to its place of origin. After vinification, the wine is refined first in tank and then in bottle before release. This process helps preserve its fresh and aromatic character. With its lively, Mediterranean style, Lighea pairs particularly well with raw fish, seafood, tempura and a variety of dishes based on oily fish. In the glass, the 2025 vintage shows a bright straw-yellow colour with greenish reflections. The nose combines orange blossom, bergamot and citrus fruits in a fresh and fragrant bouquet. On the palate, the fruity and floral notes return, supported by pleasant freshness and good length. A delicately mineral finish completes the wine with precision and balance.
