The Gewürztraminer Grand Cru Hengst 2022 by Wunsch & Mann is an expressive white wine from Alsace, France. The traditional winery, based in Wettolsheim, cultivates its vineyards organically, combining generations of experience with the distinctive characteristics of its terroirs. The grapes come from the prestigious Grand Cru Hengst vineyard, located south of Wintzenheim.

In Alsace, the Grand Cru designation identifies selected vineyard sites with exceptional geological and climatic conditions, subject to strict quality requirements. The south and southeast-facing slopes are characterised by limestone-rich marl soils, which give the wines structure and character. Gewürztraminer from this terroir is particularly appreciated for its aromatic intensity and remarkable ageing potential. It pairs especially well with spicy Asian dishes, foie gras and strongly flavoured cheeses.

In the glass, the wine displays an intense yellow colour with delicate golden reflections. The bouquet reveals elegant aromas of yellow fruits, fresh apricots and subtle sweet spices.
