The Lagrein DOC Rubeno from 2024 from the Andrian winery features a deep ruby red color in the glass, which underlines its intensity and depth. Its scent is characterized by dark berry aromas such as black cherry and blackberry, accompanied by spicy notes of black pepper and a touch of chocolate. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and powerful, with well-integrated tannins, lively acidity and a long-lasting finish.

The Lagrein grape variety used in this wine is an autochthonous variety from South Tyrol, which is characterized by its deep red color and spicy aromas. It is traditionally grown in the region and grows particularly well in the climatic conditions of alpine viticulture. Lagrein DOC Rubeno is carefully vinified and aged both in stainless steel tanks and in traditional wooden barrels to improve its complexity and structure. During aging, the wine develops its characteristic aromas and gains in richness and depth.
